Donza Rogers
MD
Dr. Donza Rogers is a Board-Certified Pediatrician who is originally from Savannah, Georgia. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Emory University and her Medical Degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Texas at Houston.
After the completion of her residency, Dr. Rogers relocated to Dallas and joined the faculty of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center/Children's Medical Center as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. While at Children's Medical Center she worked primarily as a Pediatric Hospitalist but also served as an attending on the teaching wards and in the medical student clinic. In addition to working as a hospitalist at Children's, Dr. Rogers worked briefly as a private hospitalist with Drake Hospitalists, P.A. As a private hospitalist, she provided inpatient care to patients at Children’s Medical Center, Medical City Children’s Hospital, and Lake Pointe Medical Center.
After working several years as a hospitalist, Dr. Rogers moved into the private sector of pediatrics and joined Kessler Pediatrics. She has a passion for pediatrics and providing quality care to her patients. She strongly believes that education and prevention are the strongest determinants to healthy kids. Dr. Rogers has been featured on Children's Health Check on NBC 5 and in Parents magazine providing helpful tips for parents.
Dr. Rogers is a member of Dallas County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, and American Academy of Pediatrics. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband.
